I wouldn't be in such a bad mood about it if it happened all the time. Also, notes aren't instant messenger. If you send me a note saying "hi", I will ignore you. It may make me sound like an ass, but if I wanted to talk to you, you'd be on my MSN. Thanks.

Other than that, how was everyone's mother's day? Mine was pretty boring. I wanted to take my mom out to eat yesterday but she said that she was watching the race and didn't feel like going outside. Thanks mom. So all the restaurants were packed today. Brought it on yourself, sorry~
We did get her a really nice necklace though. She likes diamond-y things. Women.

I had something to type, but I forgot it. I think I mainly just wanted to yell about the notes thing. That and to yell about how long this freaking retarded ref sheet thing of my character it taking me. Seriously! My computer is being a whore. I have been rather upset lately and I'm not sure why. The highlight of my day is generally talking to Moro (if she gets online) and reading emails from Jaantong.
I'm sure he'll be less than pleased when he comes back and sees that I haven't been learning my Chinese.
Guh.

Wait I have other highlights of my day. We play softball now on the swim team since swim season is over (why is swim season during the coldest months of the year?) I have to be all-time catcher for both teams because I don't wear a glove. Unfortunately for me, my right hand is completely useless. I catch and throw with my left hand. But I was pretty proud that I got four people out on Friday because they're stupid enough to hit pop-flies that I can run and get. I have this line of stripes on my leg in the shape of the stitches on a baseball from being pegged. YESSSS manly bruise.
So that made my day.

I ordered some gouache paints from dickblick. =kilara is the first person I saw painting with gouache and she tried to explain it to me but it didn't sound any cooler than regular paint. Now, know that I hate painting　(I'm only in a painting class because I've taken all the other art classes already. . ) but we used gouache the other day and it is the most amazing paint ever. That's why I bought some off the internet! It got here yesterday and I'm pretty excited. I don't know what I'm going to do with them though since I don't have board to paint on or. . brushes. . . hmm.
Arg!
I have paints and I can't use them!

Bout time for me to update this, I think!
I haven't been drawing much. D: Lots of stuff going on at school with four projects, a film to do, and a six page thesis paper I need to write. . .
Being a senior sucks.
But I have eaten many a snow cone in these past weeks. Ah they are delicious. You can't go wrong with "big tex, sour [insert flavour here] with double cream". Works on all flavours~ Pineapple and Tigerblood being my favs so far. Grasshopper was pretty good too. But fuzzy naval? no. dont get that. at all. ever.

I was pointed to iScribble by *silverskydragon and it's a lot of fun. So while I'm extremely unmotivated to actually draw, I'll doodle smiley faces and stuff on iscribble. It's also fun to play that one game where you have 5 minutes to draw the topic. Yeah I'm not good at time management, sorry. I'm working on my last arts for myself before heading back to commissions, trades, and owed arts. It's a ref sheet of Di ( 2 ). For his dragon/beast form anyway. I'm too lazy to make one for his regular form. Or that's what I originally said anyway. Now that i'm in the middle of this sheet and doing twice the work than I should have to do or that i've done on any previous sheet, i'm getting tired of looking at it.

Well. New, interesting things in my life? I guess. There's not a lot going on, I just felt like. . . writing a journal. Meh. So, I had to reformat my computer today (again), since it's super retarded and. . . will probably end up making me reformat it again soon. I've installed all my drivers and crap and Windows XP service pack 2, so I can keep up with all you losers and your Windows Vista. However now I can't connect to dAmn. So don't look for me in my chat room, I won't be there. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? It shows this when I enter the room.

Anyway. I was planning to, instead of doing 'me-art', doing a new Journal CSS. I'll try to make it compatible with internet explorer (since I know how hideous this one is in that blasted program), though if I can't, it sucks for you. You should use firefox anyway.

In any case, I got tagged. But since I've filled this out so many times, I'm going to change the rules. Since I've had a crappy day anyway.

1) I hate paintbrushes that go all limp when you try to use them. I shouldn't have to struggle to get paint on the paper, seriously.
2) I hate it when your car thinks you like the radio REALLY LOUD and blasts volume at you so hard when you turn it on, your skin peels off your face.
3) I hate those toilet paper holders that don't let the roll spin so you gotta wrap your hands around it a bunch of times.
4) I also hate those ghetto toilet paper rolls where the toilet paper comes off once sheet at a time. So it takes you five minutes to get enough toilet paper and then you have like ten billion individual squares. Wtf am I supposed to do with that.
5) I hate how I'm so stupid/unobservant that If I merely put something, such as a CD, ontop of something else, I wont be able to find it.
6) I hate chearleaders.

I was actually supposed to do more but I couldn't think of any so I changed the number to look like I did the amount I was supposed to do. I suck. lol.

Hey everyone, sorry for my absence. I suppose I should explain since I've been keeping you all in the dark. School isn't really a big deal, so I can't use it as an excuse for my absence. I should be fine after an all nighter tonight.

However I'd like to say R.I.P. My other two leopard geckos ended up with the same disease that ailed Chibii earlier this year and all this month I've been pretty. . . in my own world. I put them down yesterday and now I just. . . don't feel like drawing anything for anyone. Please excuse if I draw me art for a little bit. I don't really wanna work on trades or commissions at least for a couple days. Sorry.

There isn't much else really going on. we've been doing the fitness test that the government/state law says everyone in high school must do. I ran a horrible mile in 9:12. Sadly, I'll admit that's my best time. I am. . . a swimmer. Not a runner, kthx.

The snowcone stand opened back up and I've been enjoying a BIG TEX size sour strawberry daiquiri with double cream every day for the past three or so days. It's pretty nice. . .

Well so I'm back! c: It's been a while since I've updated. Sorry. 3: There's a lot going on in my life but much of it is too boring to write about, as the people who read my LiveJournal already know. There is a lot of my journal that really needs to be updated. Gah. I need a new CSS.

In any case, there are many things that have been keeping me away from DA and art. School is one of them. Mainly just my English class. . . I'm so far behind and I don't even know how I'm going to finish everything by the end of the six weeks. I might have to do what the teacher usually says and "Fail. Try again next time." |: We're reading The Kite Runner which, as dark/morbid as it is, is a pretty good book. I'm enjoying it, anyway. I've also doodled some little fanarts of a game I recently picked back up that I haven't played in eight years. Would you guys like to see? c:
What else. Oh, my mom got in a car accident and ha started driving my car. The check engine light is on and my AC doesn't work on the first notch anymore. It better get fixed. :I

BUT. This is what I'm writing for. I went to the MainSt. Art Festival yesterday and I really had a lot of fun. c: I met *PurpleMuffin and ~o0Purple-Dragon0o there and we had a good time hangin' out. I also met up with ~SuperRara and ~Hora-Quan who are also awesome. :E We packed up around 6:00 so I was only there for nine or so hours. I wasn't really even at my booth most of the time. I watched a performance by the Yo-Yo People which really made my day. c: I ate a turkey leg, roasted corn, and a PICKLE POP. :E I also gave away food coupons and wore a sign that said "Will Draw For Food"

I feel that my weekend is complete. XD
DA went into readonly mode in the middle of my writing this, so I can't really remember what I was going to say. I was going to sell the rest of my prints on here, but even if I don't, I made a profit, so it doesn't matter. They turned out a little light anyway, due to a whole ordeal I went through with kinko's that I don't really want to talk about. >> Either way, I just finished washing my clothes, so I'm going to go to bed, as I have school in the morning.

XD Another really pointless journal. I was just wanting to know if any of you Texans live near Dallas. Do you know about the Main Street Art Festival? They close down some roads to have a fesival with art, music, and food? Sounds great doesn't it. :3 My school has reserved a booth for any art students interested so I'll be there at MainSt. Selling art with some of my friends. The festival is the 18-20th of this month, though so far I only know we're going on the 19th, which is a Saturday. So It'd be really neat if any of you could come and meet me. We could hang out and stuff. :c I'd like to know if any of you are interested. XD

Also, since I don't really have any crafts to sell at the art festival so I'm probably just going to do prints. Are there any prints you guys thing that I MUST sell? Because anything that doesn't sell will be sold here on the internet. c:
