Di? An optimist? yes!

yes his arm is too short, stop telling me.

I tend to always draw him in his teenager angry years (that's when I like him the most XD) but he does eventually grow up (lol pun). Mid 30's Di here. I wanted to do the age meme so I'm thinking about holding any information about him until I can do that and type on it.

There are some wonky parts of this image and some parts I really like. I drew this at the beginning of Feb and I still like it enough to want to post it now, so that really says something xD

Anyway, Older!Di! It's no accident that I colored him white and omitted his markings. He also has his old hairstyle back that he had as a younger-ish kid XD Which is definitely cute. It's nice to see Di tolerant, optimistic, and having self-esteem, so I might draw older!di more often, who knows (if I have time, that is).

Later (around the age he is in this image), Di faces a tragedy (self-caused, obviously) because fate likes to kick him in the ass. He comes out of it though a man. He is a healer (kinda, he still doesn't enjoy being around many people), controlling the elements of both light and dark =O (sorta. i think they control him more than he controls them xD)

4am, I should go to bed xD

I should start calling them Byondi instead of KyaRaians :c It's like calling us "earthlings". So here's to trying to form that habit (i should also try using less commas when I type, but I don't think, that's, possible,,,,, ).

Excellent textured background, very professional presentation, and incredibly well implemented. The use of asian style in the clothing and the attention to details in things such as the animal feet make him very appealing. Something about the shading in the belt does come off as imperfect. There is some style added to the cloth in the hem. Very cool. What happened to the end of his tail? Is it simply overgrown, or is it damaged, revealing the bone and cartilage within? His hair style makes me smile - the shadow in the front indicates a lot of height - this is highly communicative!

Holy crap, yeah, he looks WAYYYYYY more optimistic and positive here than in his other pictures. D8

The story behind all these people seems really epic and complicated... I'm interested to know what's up with Di, especially. SO MYSTERIOUS...
