Path to Radiance

Description

Definitely stole the title from a song.
So I'm still doing these head-shot thingies! This one isn't very interesting, but I wanted a similar pose to this picture of mine so that I could use it as a journal skin over at my Xchange.

But also I really wanted to draw Shin! It's been so long since I've drawn him, and like REALLY drawn him, that this was really nice. I had to jump through a hoop to get the gradient map to work on him but I think I'm becoming more flexible with this type of coloring. It is really quite nice and relaxing.

I'll also take this time to tell you guys about the ShinXChange. It's an old exchange I ran four or five years ago that I'm in the process of reviving! So if you like an exchange, drop by. If you don't know what an exchange is, it's like secret santa but with art; every month I haven't started the actual exchanges up again yet, but I'm working on it right now and applications to join are open. The exchange, however, is quality controlled. If you'd like to apply, feel free to request membership as a 'contributor' which is the rank required to join the exchange.

Don't apply if you can't handle being declined, though.
