56. Dauby =Shinerai

Digital Art / Drawings / Fantasy

Posted in digital because it, for some reason, took me way longer to color than it did to draw.

So this is a comission for ~RainbowOfWhite featuring her character named Dau who is a mail carrier, basically c: He has little blades attached to his fingers so he can fly (the other feathers are natural).

Well, I hope I did him some justice. He was really fun to draw but not quite equally fun to color. Even if I am satisfied with the outcome, I feel I maybe should have done more with him? But I don't know what!

I hope all of you enjoy it regardless. I feel like I'm a little out of practice and I'm trying to break free of that.

Awesome work, this is a really interesting character and your depiction of him is excellent. The anatomy is spot-on and I love the simple shading used coupled with the faint hint of texture.
